This project proposal involves designing a new bathroom for a client.
He requested a modern and functional bathroom. The choice of materials was quite varied, but overall, well integrated.
The shower features a custom French door entry structure using glass and powder-coated stainless steel.
Instead of the usual tiles, we decided to cover the floor with a slab of Titanium Gold Granite leather finish and the walls in Taj Mahal Quartzite also leather finish, in order not only to increase grip but also to give a sense of three-dimensionality to the materials.
The bathroom floor is cladded with a concrete leather finish, again for an aesthetic factor that recalls the style of the shower, but also for a practical point of view, increasing grip in case of wet floor.
The vanity is very minimalist, the benchtops and suspended shelves will be covered in Red Limestone, and the drawers covered in Maple veneer, top-mounted sink in Emerald Green Marble.
For the remaining walls, a contrasting combination of dark wood with vertical boards and aged light wood with horizontal boards.
