This project was requested to me by an Italian family who lives outside London, the entire design will be done remotely.
This is the main bedroom’s bathroom, so I had to accommodate both the husband and wife’s needs.
Light-colored, small-sized tiles were chosen for the cladding of the walls and floors, to give a modern but at the same time sober style.
The suspended vanity is equipped with two sinks and storage for products and towels, with counters in aged and treated oak.
A powder station with Carrara marble counter will be installed in the opposite corner, as a powder room function was requested by the customers.
The shower is extremely modern and functional, cave-style, as it is doorless and large enough to accommodate two people at the same time, it has a Carrara marble floor that recalls the benchtop of the powder station, while the walls will be covered with Classic Travertine, which thanks to its porosity will favour the “aged” effect.
From the upper wall, positioned above the shower entrance, two shelves enriched with plants will be obtained, which together with the “aged” effect plaster will visually break down the external/internal barrier, almost as if they were in an open-air bathroom.
